Our meeting will be from 6-7 so we can attend the Oly Free Space Assembly event at Traditions
“Olympia Free Space Assembly , 7:00 PM.
Over the course of several Free Olympia Project assemblies, one topic that has repeatedly been discussed is the need for more free spaces in Olympia. Free Spaces are a broad subject: from renting buildings or houses to use as community centers, to reclaiming abandoned structures, to liberating our streets as free spaces of creative expression. We’ve scheduled an assembly to discuss this subject specifically, on March 12th at Traditions. This is a page for that event, but also a means to discuss the possibility of an Olympia Free Space. One example that I’ve found that seems worth looking into modeling ourselves after is the Minnehaha Free Space.http://minnehahafreespace.org/about/
